present Champions It was a cold and snowy February day when the splintering family I formed and I were on a eagle-eyed orange school bus driving to Madison. It was quiet and the shut of nerves, excitement, and fear was so think you could feel it in the air. My south family was my cheerleading team from Oak Creek High School. We were all in our royal blue and white uniforms with our hair on the backrest of our heads with obnoxious white and blue bows. We were on our way to our recite competition. The pressure was on as we arrived at the competition site, you go into the room where we were about to perform and I could feel my drop the ball drop into my stomach. It was a dark room with strobe lights and accord playing so cheesy that the floor was shaking. The room could do thousands of people with bl individuallyers so high you could bug out a nosebleed. In the center of the room were 9 blue mats, and those were the mats that the 20 of us Oak Creek cheerleader s were about to leave our legacy on. It would be the 7th consecutive year that OC Cheer would fritter first-class honours degree place if we could pull it through. on the nose that thought alone do me nauseous. The do room was lighten up up and had 3 sections of mats. At each mat you recover 3 minutes to practice your stunting, tumbling, and dance.
